Full of personality, Poof greets anyone with enthusiastic tail-wags and an eager, happy stance. He’s playful and spirited—loves batting at toys, chasing soft balls across the floor, and performing charming little hops when excited. Yet he also settles quickly for lap-time, folding his paws neatly and sighing into a contented nap. Poof is attentive and quick to learn, responding best to gentle praise and tasty treats.

Maltese are famous for their show-stopping, floor-length coats and are playful, charming, and adaptable companions. Maltese are affectionate dogs and are covered by a long, straight, silky coat. They make great alert watchdogs who are fearless in a charming dog way. Maltese are low-shedding and happy to make new friends of all ages. Sometimes stubborn and willful, they respond well to rewards-based training.
